I’m proud to be a part of a community that’s rooted in hard work, family values, and helping your neighbor.  It’s an honor to be your Republican Nominee for Circuit Clerk. Thank you for the kindness and support during this election cycle. Nine months ago I entered this race to give you a louder voice in local government, as I’d seen enough of politics getting in the way of serving the people. It’s my goal to maintain the integrity of service while working with you to accomplish positive improvements going beyond the status quo.

Here are the key parts of our plan. The government in its nature is wasteful and we all pay taxes to keep it running. We must take action to save tax dollars, as no amount is insignificant.  The next Circuit Clerk will be challenged with modernizing the office.  Part of the plan is to install an electronic record-keeping system to modernize and increase efficiency overall.  Currently, there is no digital media present and very limited community involvement.  Implementing more communication avenues like a website, social media, and town hall events will expand access to resources and promote accountability.

While campaigning, the need for community outreach became clear with the confusion about the election process.  I will conduct regular community outreach programs to eliminate confusion and ensure you can make informed decisions.  I believe we can do more to increase voter turnout.  21% turnout in the 2019 primary is unacceptable. Engaging our youth is critical to their future participation. Getting them registered to vote is only half the battle. Our plan will inform students why it’s important they take part.  Finally, every decision made will be with your interest placed first.

With my professional experience, a college degree in criminal justice, and a common-sense approach I have the qualifications to uphold the integrity of the office. For a decade I’ve worked at the Gates Corporation as the Safety & Environmental Manager sustaining legal compliance with federal, state & local agencies.

Tuesday I ask for your vote.  I need your help to put our plan into action. I pledge to bring the same work ethic to serving you as I have brought to this campaign.  With your help, we can accomplish positive changes that will benefit everyone.  Allow me the opportunity to work with you. God bless & go vote!

I need your support in the Republican Runoff on 8/27.

I would like to thank the people of Tishomingo County once more for your vote of confidence on August 6th.  I ask for your vote again on August 27th in the Republican runoff for Circuit Clerk.  For those who voted for my opponents I ask for your consideration also.  I pledge to you that I will bring the same work ethic and passion to serving as your Circuit Clerk as I have brought to this campaign.  Like you, I’m tired of people being pushed aside and our principles being compromised by politicians.  We can achieve positive changes while maintaining the integrity of the office, but I need your help.

This election is about people not politics. With your trust, I will work tirelessly to secure lasting improvements here in our County, and make sure that our conservative principles are never compromised.  I am 100% committed to protecting our Constitutional rights, fighting against violations of our liberties, and standing firm for Christian values. I’m not looking for just a job, to obtain influence, or join the insider network.  I’m simply asking for an opportunity to serve YOU.

With a college degree in Criminal Justice, a decade of professional experience at the Gates Corporation as Safety & Environmental Manager, and the common sense  life lessons over the last 33 years I have the qualifications to maintain the integrity of the Circuit Clerk’s office.  I believe we can go a step beyond, by putting our plan into action to achieve changes  that puts your interest first.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me 256-460-8003.  On August 27th please vote for Josh McNatt in the Republican Runoff for Circuit Clerk, and allow me the opportunity to serve you.  Thank you for your consideration. Go vote & God Bless!

The duties of the Circuit Clerk are essential to local government, and a responsibility I take seriously.  For too long politicians have pushed us aside and compromised our principles. My purpose is to ensure the interest of the people is always put first.  I’m not a politician.  I’m simply asking for an opportunity to serve you. Working together we can achieve positive changes in our County while maintaining the integrity of the Circuit Clerk’s office.

With a college degree in Criminal Justice, a decade working for a worldwide corporation as Safety & Environmental Manager and the common sense lessons learned from my grandparents; I have the experience and education necessary to be your Circuit Clerk.  More importantly, I have defined a plan to achieve changes in the county and ensure your interests are always put first.

  • I will account for every penny spent & work tirelessly to find ways to save tax dollars.
  • We need more accountability and better communication.  By growing communication opportunities through digital media platforms, face to face interaction, and community outreach we can achieve this.
  • I will travel to your community on a regular basis making it convenient for any needs you have to be addressed.
  • Work with Election Commissioners to ensure elections are ALWAYS fair & implemented with integrity.
  • Professional, courteous interaction. Protect residents Constitutional rights & address issues head-on!
  • Partner with our schools to continue registering Seniors to vote, & attempt to increase voter participation by engaging with underclassman. Preparing them to register in the future when they are of age.
  • Neighboring counties are implementing electronic voter rolls and court record systems. We must pursue these opportunities to make our process more efficient.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to call me or go to joshmcnatt.com.  Thank you  for this opporunity and please keep me in your prayers.  I humbly ask for your vote on August 6th in the Republican Primary.

For those that don’t know me, I’m 33 years old, a lifetime resident of Tishomingo, and was raised by my grandparents Quthel & Sara McNatt.  I’ve been married to my wife Kayla for 10 years; we are members of Tishomingo Baptist Church.  Kayla and I don’t have any children, but we became foster parents in 2017.  I earned my college degree in Criminal Justice from NEMCC.   I’ve been employed by the Gates Corporation for 9 years as the Safety & Environmental Manager.  I’m responsible for employee safety, making strategic decisions, and sustaining compliance with government agencies like OSHA, DOT, and EPA.  My beliefs are deeply rooted in constitutional conservative principles that I will not compromise.

Go vote & God Bless!
